Films and TV series, another 11 productions in Liguria thanks to a regional tender – Primocanale.it

GENOA – Another 11 national or international productions are ready to shoot TV series or feature films in Liguria thanks to the regional benefits of the 2023 audiovisual tender. The regional council, in fact, on the proposal of the regional councilor for economic development Alessio Piana, approved the refinancing of 533 thousand euros for the tender dedicated to attracting Italian, European or non-European companies destined for distribution national and international. The measure, which initially had an economic budget of 1.5 million euros, thus exceeds the 2 million available, drawing on the resources of the PR ERDF 2021-2027.

“A new regional commitment that testifies, once again, to ours proximity to a growing sector which, in addition to being an extraordinary means of cultural and natural valorisation of the territory, represents an important economic accelerator for the Ligurian entrepreneurial fabric – underlines the regional councilor for economic development Alessio Piana -. Thanks to this refinancing, in particular, we will allow all 11 productions that have applied for relief, and have been deemed eligible by Filse, to receive the regional contribution”.

Please remember that they were eligible for relief feature films (at least 52 minutes in length) and TV series (over 90 minutes in length) by Italian, European or non-European companies intended for national and international distributionwith at least 30% of the filming days in the regional territory or at least 20% of the budgeted expenditure in Liguria.
