Compasso d’Oro 2024: CELLIA awarded®, the interactive facade by Progetto CMR and Gruppo Focchi. The Vicenza-based company Alpac has signed the VMC.
Designed by Progetto CMR and developed with the Focchi Group, with the contribution of the Vicenza-based company Alpac for decentralized ventilation and the healthiness of indoor environments. CELLIA® was awarded the 2024 Compasso D’Oro Award in the design of materials and technological systems category.

Assigned to CELLIA®the new interactive facade model designed, patented and developed in synergy between Progetto CMR – company specialized in integrated design – and Focchi Groupspecialist in engineered and made-to-order façade solutions.
Customizable in finishes, dimensions and performance levels e made entirely off site through advanced prefabrication methods, CELLIA® is the new module for intelligent facades that integrates multiple technologies aimed at improving not only the building’s energy consumption, but also its environmental impact: from the screening system to the lighting system, from the air conditioning system to the photovoltaic modules, from remote control technologies up to Controlled Mechanical Ventilation system.
Alpac
Alpac from Vicenza also contributed to the mock-up of the interactive facade with the integration of a VMC unit which uses Helty decentralized technology.
Point of reference in the sector of integrated ventilation and window opening management systems, Alpac has studied a tailor-made decentralized VMC solution for air exchange and filtration, designed specifically for hidden insertion within the CELLIA modules®.
