The use of a bike is very rare but it brings benefits but above all well-being to the environment in which we live. In the city of Florence a very important incentive has been placed for those who decide to abandon their car and only use the bicycle.
The Municipality has provided in detail a monthly contribution for those who switch to two wheels, abandoning motor vehicles with a bonus of 20 cents for each kilometer travelled. For all other routes, 5 cents per kilometer will be calculated with a maximum of 30 euros.
For those who already used the bike in the pastthe bonus will amount to 15 cents per kilometer with the addition of 5 cents for general journeys.
This bonus beyond Florence was implemented in Emilia Romagna, also to promote the purchase of the bike up to a maximum of 1000 euros for a pedal-assisted cargo bike.
