Two 18-year-old boys were taken to hospital under yellow code after being hit by a car while they were on the street in Arcore on the night between 20 and 21 June.

What happened is still being investigated by the country’s police: the military has arrived to carry out all the necessary investigations.
We know with certainty that the emergency call to 112 went out a few minutes before 1 am. The health workers stabilized the 18-year-olds on site and then transferred them to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza under yellow code. Fortunately they shouldn’t be life threatening. Work is now underway to understand the exact dynamics of the accident. In fact, it remains to be clarified how it was possible where the young people were and why the driver did not see them in time to brake. The next few days will be fundamental when the testimonies of the people involved will be collected.
Also in that street last month was a car with a car on board an 89-year-old woman overturned. The Fire Brigade from the Monza and Brianza Command also showed up on site, with a fire engine from Vimercate and one from the Monza headquarters, who extracted the old woman from the car and entrusted it to the paramedics. The woman had suffered some injuries but she was not in serious condition. No other cars or people were involved in the accident.
