The Azzurri, number one in the seeding, beat the German pair formed by Yannick in the semi-final Hanfmann and Dominik KoepferThe score was 6-3, 7-6(6) in just under an hour and a half of play. A great victory especially for extraordinary comeback in the second set. Down a break, Bolelli and Vavassori canceled five set points before dragging the set to a tie-break. Here Hanfmann and Koepfer, ahead 6-3, had three more opportunities to drag the match to the third set. The fourth final in 2024 and the top in the Race

For the Azzurri it is the fourth final of the season, the second in a row in Halle where last year they lost against Melo and Peers. “Competitive on all surfaces”

We are playing well, it’s undeniable, and this gives us confidence.” Vavassori was also satisfied: “We proved that our goals were achievable. We must continue like this, we are competitive on all surfaces and we complement each other. We are growing a lot in response, the hard work of these months has borne fruit.”
