The President of the Council of the Province of Frosinone, Gianluca Quadrini, this morning sent a letter to the Provincial Commander of the Fire Brigade, Alessandra Rilievi, requesting the establishment of a seasonal fire brigade in the municipality of Ceprano. This initiative is motivated by the strategic position of Ceprano, located near the motorway toll booth, which would guarantee greater accessibility and speed of intervention during the 2024 forest fire campaign.
President Quadrini’s proposal is part of a broader strategy for the prevention and management of forest emergencies, aimed at protecting the provincial territory and ensuring the safety of citizens.
“The creation of a seasonal garrison in Ceprano – states Quadrini in this regard – will allow us to strengthen our emergency response capacity in view of the problems of the summer heat which increase critical issues, reducing intervention times and improving the effectiveness of rescue operations . Thanks to the Mayor of Ceprano, Marco Colucci, and to the local institutions for their prompt availability and active collaboration. The synergy between the different institutions is crucial for the success of initiatives of this type, which require effective coordination and joint commitment.”
Special thanks are also addressed to the Provincial Commander of the Fire Brigade, Alessandra Rilievi, “for her constant availability and for the precious work carried out daily by the Fire Brigade”. The President of the Provincial Council declares: “The support of the Commander will be decisive for the realization of this important project, which will contribute to strengthening the safety and protection network of our territory.”
The President of the Council of the Frosinone Province is awaiting positive feedback from the Provincial Commander of the Fire Brigade and trusts in the full collaboration of all parties involved for the implementation of the seasonal garrison in Ceprano.
