During the presentation of the first theatrical season of the Teatro Carani after the reopening in 2024, scheduled tonight starting at 6:30 pm in the theater, the premiere of the last episode of ‘Ieri, Oggi, Carani’ will also take place. This is the sixth and final episode of the docuseries produced by TILT Associazione Giovanile APS and the Municipality of Sassuolo with the support of the Fondazione di Modena and the Emilia-Romagna Region, which has staged the extraordinary cultural world of which the Carani was a part, where in 90 years of history over 10 million spectators have cried, laughed and been moved through an unprecedented perspective, which combines a part of fiction narrated by RAI journalist Gloria Aura Bortolini with the voices of Nek, Alberto Bertoli, Leone Magiera, Daniele Rubboli, Raina Kabaivanska, Adua Veroni, Paolo Dal Bon, the historic projectionist Ruggero Casolari and Caterina Caselli. The last episode of the docuseries closes, in a certain sense, the circle, and tells the story of the birth of the idea of reopening the Teatro Carani launched in 2018 through the voices of the President of the Fondazione Teatro Carani Claudia Borelli and the vice-presidents Luca Mussini and Franco Stefani – who entrusted the artistic direction to Corrado Abbati – as well as the planning phase and the construction site works illustrated by the director of the works and the designers.
