The fire on June 14th caused the death of three people: Silvano Tollardo, Carolina De Luca and their son Antonio. They were killed by the smoke they inhaled, saturated with carbon monoxide.

How the Tollardo-De Luca family died
It was the thick black smoke to kill Silvano, Carolina and Antonio, on the evening of June 14th in Gambara. The fire that broke out on the ground floor of the building where the family lived spread to very short time. First, the heat of the fire shattered the glass of a window, making it a perfect escape route for the gases, which rose up to the third floor, where the Tollardo-De Lucas lived, making the room saturated with carbon monoxide.
The temperature, then, was very high. The three certainly realized what was happening: their son had opened the door to try to escape, but none of them succeeded. It seems that a few seconds of smoke inhalation they did faint the three family members. The son was the first to be found by the firefighters. They tried to resuscitate him, without success.

What happened in via Fra Galgario in Gambara
Around 7.30pm Friday 14 Junein Zone Gambara in Milana fire broke out involving three of six floors of a building in via Fra Galgario 8. In all there have been three victims (Silvano Tollardo, Carolina De Luca and Antonio Tollardo) e four injured. The fire apparently spread from a workshop on the ground floor. It would all start from repair of a petrol Volkswagen Polo. It was the last job of the day.
It was one who started the fire petrol spill which was followed by a fire on the car and the collapse of the tank. The smoke rose, burned the tires and the entire room, and then spread up the stairs of the building which acted as a chimney.
I am still investigations are underwayespecially to understand if i safety devices were they in operation or not. There were fire extinguishers inside the workshop, so much so that, having noticed the fire, the owner (who survived) tried to put out the flames, without success.
