Genoa, twenty-year-old dies in a road accident. The three friends who were traveling in the car with him were injured

Tragedy on the roads in the Genoa area: last night a 20-year-old boy died on the provincial road of Val D’Aveto, in the hinterland of the eastern part of Genoa, three others were injured. The young man was in a car with two boys and a girl when the car went off the road, overturning and ending up against two trees on an embankment below the main road, in the Rezzoaglio area.

It all happened around 11pm between the hamlets of Villanoce and Gramizza. The car in which the four young people were traveling crashed off the road, perhaps due to its high speed or perhaps for an animal that may have crossed their path.

The direct call to 118 was automatically made from the vehicle’s security system, as now happens on new generation cars. From the intercom the voice of one of the occupants of the passenger compartment explained to the rescuers what had happened and the rescue car left.

The 118 and firefighters together with the mountain rescue team were on site, extracting the occupants from the vehicle. The twenty year old he died on the spot. The other three injured people, two of whom were in more serious conditions, were rescued and transported respectively to the hospital in Lavagna and in two cases by helicopter to San Martino in Genoa. The causes are being investigated by the police.
