Moments of fear yesterday afternoon in the Offida countryside, when a fire broke out in the Casale degli Ulivi bed&breakfast in the Ciafone district. The firefighters from the Ascoli barracks intervened promptly on site, with three vehicles and five people, who quickly put out the fire and made the place safe. It all happened around 1.20pm, when for reasons that are being ascertained by the police, the fire broke out: the flames appear to have emanated from one of the rooms of the structure, which was closed at the time, on The fire quickly enveloped everything. A lady from the other hill noticed smoke coming from the structure and she immediately realized what was happening and so she raised the alarm. Help was asked from the firefighters, who arrived promptly on site, with three vehicles and five men, who put out the flames, subsequently the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile of San Benedetto del Tronto also arrived, responsible for the territory, for the ritual investigations. Luckily there was a lot of fear, but without serious consequences: no one was involved in the fire, also because it seems that the structure was closed at the time of the fire. Unfortunately there was damage to property, the firefighters concentrated above all on extinguishing the flames and worked to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding vegetation.
