Four Silent Discos in July enliven the nights of Liguria

Reading time: minute

The trend of Silent Discos is spreading more and more, a way to meet up and dance in public without the proverbial chaos of discos: for the month of July, four events are coming up in as many locations on the Ligurian coast where it will be possible to dance with headphones on my head in total silence.

The calendar of Silent Discos organized in collaboration with the Liguria Region includes:

  • Sunday 7 July in Taggia, at the Darsena di Arma di Taggia, (from 10pm to 1am);
  • Wednesday 17 July on the artists’ promenade of Albissola Marina (from 10pm to 1.30am);
  • Sunday 21 July on the Lungomare Italian Exiles from Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia in Chiavari (from 10pm to 1.30am);
  • Wednesday 24 July in via Calata Doria in Porto Venere (from 10pm to 1am);

«Liguria confirms itself as the ideal land for tourism, not only the traditional one linked to the sea and appreciated by families, which remains particularly important for the sector, but also for younger people»comments the interim president and vice president of the Liguria Region Alessandro Piana. «These evenings will be able to liven up the nights of the Riviera, without disturbing sleep, and are certainly an additional attractive element that is part of the wide program of events and appointments that Liguria can now offer not only in summer, but 12 months a year.”

The Silent Discos increase an increasingly varied and captivating tourist offer in Liguria

«culture, food and wine, entertainment, obviously sea and beaches, the most beautiful in Italy, outdoor activities and fascinating traditions: all this is the unique mix that allows our region to record growing success year after year»concluded Alessandro Piana.

«Silent Discos are highly anticipated events which have been receiving ever-increasing popularity for around twenty years now: they are also frequented by a varied audience which includes a wide age range as one has the possibility to choose the musical genre on headphones that you prefer to dance”confirms the Councilor for Tourism of the Liguria Region, Augusto Sartori. «We agreed to collaborate in the creation of these four evenings because the locations chosen are very suggestive and because tourism in Liguria in the summer is all about experiencing the sea, excursions, culture, good food and also fun ».
