The helmet saved my life. I’m still in pain but I’m getting over it“. Then he lifted his shirt and showed bruises.

In a post published on Instagram accompanied by a video, Gordon Ramsay began by advising everyone to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Then he highlighted the reasons why he thought it appropriate to make this heartfelt appeal: “This week I had a really bad accident while I was cycling in Connecticut“. The chef then reassured us about his health conditions. Fortunately he did not suffer any serious consequences.

Gordon Ramsay clarified that feel good, although the pain is still intense. He did not suffer any fractures, only some abrasions which make him appear “a purple potato“. He thanked the doctors who took care of him and highlighted how the helmet – which he dutifully wore – saved his life. Father’s Day is celebrated on June 16th in the United States, which is why he closed his post by inviting all fathers to wear a helmet and not neglect their safety:

Claudio Lippi writes to Roberto Sergio on LinkedIn: “I’m still waiting to be reinstated in Rai”

I am fine. I didn’t break any bones or suffer any serious injuries, but I’m a little bruised and look like a purple potato. I am grateful to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London (Connecticut) who cared for me and examined me, but above all I am grateful for my helmet that saved my life. Happy Father’s Day to all of you and don’t neglect your safety.
