The new Mediterranean Lifestyle World Parka UNESCO intangible heritage, will bear the signature of Samnite Offtec. This was announced by the CEO of the design company, the Benevento architect Flavian Basile. Offtec has in fact won the international architecture competition a Marianopoliin the province of Caltanissetta.
“The ambitious urban regeneration project – explains Basile – will transform Marianopoli into a hub of social innovation, culture and sustainability. The Municipality has launched an initiative aimed at redeveloping the former Pascoli school, the former slaughterhouse and the municipal gym, with the aim of creating a global, polycentric and widespread park, focused on safeguarding the Mediterranean lifestyle, cultural heritage intangible recognized by UNESCO.
Among the main objectives – continues the architect – is the green transition, which can be translated into the use of renewable resources and the achievement of energy efficiency, as well as digital transformation, through the use of innovative technologies aimed at modernizing services.
An all-round sustainable growth, which looks at an inclusive and competitive economy, tourism development, based on the valorisation of local resources and social innovation, which takes the form of welcoming spaces capable of encouraging socialization through outdoor activities that aim at the psychophysical well-being of users”, concludes Basile.
