Macerata, inauguration of the service for Forte Macallè and the Macerata Rotary Club meeting at Villa Cozza – Picchio News

The Rotary Club of Macerata (AR 2023-2024 president Aldo Alessandrini) to celebrate the World Environment Day (UN 1972) del June 5, 2024 he promoted an agreement with the Municipality of Macerata and the APM of the redevelopment of Forte Macallè, the widening of the slope that gives Garibaldi Square proceeds towards the public gardens.

First some Rotarians with the collaboration of Floriculture Santinelli of Macerata have taken care of the maintenance of the greenery and the cleaning of the Fort in order to make it more accessible and visible from every perspective.

The Municipality of Macerata with the councilor in charge of public parks Paolo Renna and with the Head of the Green Operational Unit and Public Furnishings Federica Costantini, in agreement with APM he then arranged for the damaged benches, installed waste bins and restored the functioning of the fountains, waterfall and lighting.

The Club organized the inauguration of the service in the presence of the civil and Rotarian authorities on Monday June 17th at 6.00 pm inauguration which will be enlivened by refreshments with fruit offered by L’Oro della Terra di Piediripa di Macerata.

All citizens are invited to participate and full usability of the site is thus restored Fort Mekele with the hope that everyone will promote the care and respect of this environmental asset.

The Club’s thanks go to the Municipality of Macerata, the APM, the Floriculture Santinelli and the Gold of the Land of Macerata which made the service in question possible.

Nonetheless, the Club promoted a recent meeting at Villa Cozza with the participation of numerous members of the club, together with the Rotaract boys together with the presence for theIRCR of the president Amedeo Gravinaof the general director FF Nazzareno Tartufoliof the manager of the structure Letizia Colucoiniand the Press Office manager Marina Moretti.

After the initial greetings, President Alessandrini and Dr Left-handedtogether with President Incoming Irene Tedone, presented the project of the Reactivation Cabinet, located inside the IRCR hall. This wardrobe is not a simple piece of furniture, but a real instrument of rebirth and well-being for the guests of the structure.

Inside the wardrobe you will find not only first aid medical devices, but also books, games, educational materials and beauty products such as creams. These items have been selected to offer complete physical and mental support to IRCR guests.

Starting next September, our Club, with the help of the Rotaract kids, will organize afternoons of entertainment for guests. These events, planned in collaboration with the IRCR Management, will include musical moments, educational activities, games and other initiatives aimed at bringing joy and light-heartedness. The goal is to make every afternoon a moment of joy and involvement for everyone.

President Gravina expressed his gratitude for this project, underlining the importance and benefits in terms of serenity and happiness for the guests of the facility. He also discussed the importance of using the outdoor spaces of Villa Cozza for Rotary events, creating further opportunities for sharing and common growth.

The meeting at Villa Cozza represented a significant moment of collaboration and social commitment. The Reactivation Cabinet project is just the beginning of a series of initiatives that aim to improve the quality of life of IRCR guests, promoting a sense of community and solidarity.
