One dead and one injured in Rome following a serious road accident that occurred during the night on Via Cristoforo Colombo, towards Ostia. Around 4.30 am the patrols of the Local Police of Rome Capital, XII Monteverde Group, intervened on the spot, at the intersection with Via di Acilia. Two motorcycles were involved in the accident, a Piaggio Beverly, a Kawasaki Z900 motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta car. There was a 21-year-old woman in the car, who was tested for alcohol and tested negative.
The victim
He was called Luca Pupillo the 26-year-old Roman who died at dawn in an accident on the Cristoforo Colombo, in Rome. A resident of Infernetto, he was riding his Kawasaki Z900 motorbike when he was hit by a car driven by a 21-year-old girl at the intersection, after colliding with a moped. Well known in the area, Luca was a passionate bartender in a luxury hotel in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, with already solid experience, despite his young age. He loved motorbikes, a few months ago he had bought the one on which he left forever.
