Visiting Thursday morning Hanna Herasimchyk, a 46-year-old Belarusian with a past as a dancer in nightclubs, was her husband. The 43-year-old Pole – a courier job – had returned at dawn, around 5, to number 5 of Via del Citra, in PMartesana bowl, a small town on the extreme eastern outskirts of Milan.
