A tragic car accident occurred this morning, June 15, on Via Cristoforo Colombo in Rome, at the intersection with Via di Acilia. A 26-year-old boy lost his life in a collision between two motorcycles and a car.

According to initial information, the accident occurred around 4.30 in the morning. The exact dynamics of the collision, which occurred between a Piaggio Beverly scooter, a Kawasaki Z900 motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta, are yet to be clarified.

The 26-year-old riding the Kawasaki lost his life instantly. The 34-year-old driving the Piaggio scooter was rescued by 118 and transported to the Grassi hospital in Ostia. His condition is not serious. The alcohol test carried out on the 21-year-old driving the Ford Fiesta was negative.

Via Cristoforo Colombo was closed to traffic in the direction of Ostia, between Malafede and Acilia, to allow investigations by the Local Police of Rome Capital.
