Explosion in the afternoon just before 3pm San Marzano sul Sarno. Following the fire of a methane-fueled car, for reasons to be ascertained, it exploded after reaching very high temperatures, damaging nearby cars but, above all, the external parts of adjacent houses. They immediately responded to the scene the Fire Brigade of Nocera and Sarno supported by a tanker. Four people were slightly injured, mainly due to the shattering of window frames, one of which was transferred to hospital by 118 operators. The Red Helmets extinguished the flames and made the area safe as well as checking for any damage to the structures.
Some pieces of the car were found on the terraces of the buildings. The Carabinieri and the emergency electricity service are on site for all the necessary checks.
