The police check him and he sets fire to the camper where he has been living for a year. This morning, a 50-year-old Brazilian Evanival Macario Jorge, during a police check, set fire to the camper he was using as a home, which was destroyed.

“I’m not resisting, this is my home,” Evanival Macario Jorge told the police during a live video on Facebook. “You have to get out, we have to check you,” an officer replies, trying to convince him, explaining that he is making his situation worse. The moment the policeman tries to get into the camper the 50-year-old loses his temper. “If you come, I have alcohol, I’ll put it in my head and make a mess – he repeats to the officers -. I’m here, I’m recording everything… If you come, I’ll light and set fire to everything with me inside.”

At that point one of the officers intervenes saying: “You’re exaggerating. Come out and let’s solve this” and another repeats: “Nobody wants to do anything to you.” However, the man responds by stating that he doesn’t trust her. Here the live broadcast stops and this moment would probably correspond to the moment in which the man started the fire.

A few minutes later, still on Meta’s social network, the 50-year-old starts another live broadcast from the police car. “I set everything on fire. The story ends there,” he concludes.

The firefighters took care of putting out the fire and the 118 paramedics transported the 50-year-old to hospital as a precaution.
