”If you come in I’ll set fire to everything with me inside”, shortly after he sets the camper on fire

VITERBO – ”If you come in I’ll set everything on fire, with me inside…”. The man who had lived for about a year in the camper, consumed by a fire this morning in Poggino, said this to the police officers who intervened on the scene.
It was he himself, in a live broadcast on Facebook, who recorded everything that happened. ”I’m inside my house and I’m not coming,” he says to one of the officers who was trying to convince him to come out. ”I’m not resisting – the man replied to the policeman – If you come in, I have alcohol. I put it in my head and make a mess.”
In the video you can see that he sprinkles alcohol on his head, he has a lighter in his hand. ”If you come – the man said to the policeman -, I will light and set fire to everything with me inside”. Then the proposal to the police: ”Go out and let’s solve this”. Then the video goes black while the man continues to speak: ”They want to invade the camper and make me leave”.
In a second live social media broadcast, when the camper was now invaded by flames and the firefighters were putting out the fire, the man, outside the vehicle, explained that ”I set everything on fire, so that’s where the story ends” .
