TERMOLI. A year after first place in the twentieth edition of the world pizza chef championship, where he won the classic pizza category, Claudio Vicanò returns to Naples and wins the “Nations Trophy” together with his team, the Galbani Pizzaioli Swiss Team.
Our Claudio, master pizza chef and all-round artist, was able to conquer the judges’ palates thanks to a particular pizza, which represented Switzerland, the land in which he lives. And chocolate certainly couldn’t be missing among the ingredients.
The 21st edition of the World Pizza Championship Caputo World Trophy 2024 was a special edition and deeply felt by the competitors because it coincided with the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Naples mill.
The edition of the 2024 World Pizza Chef Championship organized by the Neapolitan Pizza Chef Association took place during the event at the Pizza Village which every year from 14 to 23 June 2024 at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples attracts thousands of participants.
A celebration that unites pizza chefs from all over the globe in an exciting and friendly challenge, demonstrating their mastery and professionalism in this art which is a UNESCO heritage site.
