The equipment of the new emergency systems of the firefighters of the Sant’Angelo detachment for road accidents is completed. Thanks to a private company, the AZG Antinferno of Borgo San Giovanni, the charging stations were purchased, set up on the trucks, to guarantee the functioning of the new electric shears and spreaders for road accidents in every situation.
«As the Friends of the Firemen of Sant’Angelo association we received a substantial endowment, just under 3 thousand euros, with which we managed to complete the endowment we had already purchased – explains Matteo Scotti, president of the association -. With a project we had already managed to purchase, ahead of schedule, the new control units which include electric shears and spreaders for road accidents. Now with this donation we have acquired the charging stations, which are already set up on the trucks. Through these stations it is no longer necessary to recharge the control units at the command, but we can keep them on the recharging trucks, ready for use in any situation”.
The purchase was possible thanks to the generosity of the AZG Antinferno of Borgo San Giovanni. «It is not the first time that the company collaborates with the firefighters, helping us with donations and financing – concludes Scotti -. Even in the past there was no lack of support, therefore, but this time the financial outlay was really important, but AZG and its owner Gianluca Zaffarano did not hold back. We can only thank them for this sensitivity, which benefits us and through us benefits the entire community and the territory.”
