MONTALTO DI CASTRO (Viterbo) – The Il Bianconiglio bookshop is pleased to announce the presentation of Paolo Restuccia’s new book, “The smile of those who have won”, which will be held on Thursday 13 June at 7.00 pm, as part of the “Maremma Storie” exhibition. The event sponsored by the Municipality will be hosted by the Montalto di Castro Library.
The book: “What happened to Daria Gentile and Carla Ferrara, two very young girls who disappeared without a plausible reason in the center of Rome? And did the young actor Casemiro Rosco die from drug abuse or was he killed? And what is a Catholic priest’s cassock doing in his apartment? Is one of the priests of the Church of the Perfection of All Saints involved? Maybe the teacher who directs a music school and a youth choir? Filmmaker Greta Scacchi and Tommaso Del Re, a suspended police officer who collaborates with the Crime Net television channel, try to answer these questions. While the investigation continues, a man is setting up a chapel in which he will soon consume himself something unspeakable and, against the backdrop of events, the pharmaceutical company Biolab returns as a protagonist.”
In Paolo Restuccia’s new novel, all the elements converge for a thriller full of twists and as fast-paced as the sequences of a film. During the evening, the author will talk about the creative process that led to the birth of the novel, sharing anecdotes and reflections on the topics covered.
A question and answer session will follow, during which the public will have the opportunity to interact with the author.
The event will conclude with a copy signing session.
