Last day in Allumiere with the Snail Festival

ALLUMIERE – The “Snail Festival” ends today in Allumiere and reaches its 20th edition this year. This well-established and unmissable festival, promoted to perfection by the Nobile Contrada Sant’Antonio, kicked off on Friday 21st in Piazzale Cesare Moroni, the heart of the red and white Contrada. The three-day celebration of the red and whites is having considerable success.

The previous two evenings were accompanied by music, shows and lots of fun. Piazzale Cesare Moroni; this evening the teachers and students of Dance World will be providing emotions and great dance and, like every year, during the Snail Festival they will hold a wonderful and unmissable show. The skilled cooks of the Contrada Sant’Antonio and the grill workers naturally offer excellent snails with a spicy and succulent sauce ideal for the shoe, but they will also serve traditional dishes of the town. For a starter, mix of bruschetta and cold cuts; first you can choose: square spaghetti all’amatriciana, fettuccine with wild boar, mezzeniche with snail sauce, mezzeniche tomato and basil. For the second courses of your choice: snails, wild boars, suckling pig, grilled sausages. Among the dishes are french fries and salad. To close the dinner, a mix of dry desserts and tart, coffee cream and sorbet. President Marco Del Frate invites everyone “to participate in this festival where you can find the triumph of taste”.
