60th SWIMMING INTERNATIONALS – SETTECOLLI TROPHY

RECAP

Third and final day of the 2024 Settecolli Trophy which has so far produced six new Olympic prospects for the Italian team headed to the Paris 2024 Games.

Even today the race program will be very intense and we could see new names added to the list for Paris.

LIVE COMPETITIONS

The competition will take place according to the qualifying heats/finals formula. Heats, 800 and 1500 freestyle will be held in ten lanes; finals A and B with eight lanes. The C finals will be for Italian athletes only

The heats start at 9:00 am, the finals at 6:00 pm.

The afternoon finals sessions will be broadcast live by Rai Sport +HD.

QUALIFICATION FOR THE PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES

The Settecolli Trophy will be the last chance to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In relays with places still available, the better chronometric performance obtained in the A final, provided they are lower than or equal to the Olympic Qualifying Time set by World Aquatics for individual participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Two Italian teams were formed for the event: an “A” team and an under 23 team.
