The «Castelli H24» cycling sporting event is underway in Feltre, at which a fire brigade team is also present. The event includes racing on a ring circuit that winds along the walls of the historic part of the city from 9pm yesterday to 9pm today, Saturday 8 June. The route measures 1,850 meters in length and for this year’s edition 81 teams have registered, made up of a minimum number of 8 athletes and a maximum number of 12. Furthermore, there are 31 “onlyone” athletes, i.e. cyclists who they try their hand at the route alone and for the entire duration of the event. Whoever has completed the most laps at the end of 24 hours wins.

The event is always very popular, both in the sporting and social spheres, and not only in the entire Feltre area; for this reason, many athletes with important CVs are present, as well as entertainment personalities and a large crowd of spectators.
Among the prominent names at the start in this 2024 edition in the «C’è da fare» team: Valerio Agnoli, Marco Bandiera, Marianella Bargilli, Daniele Bennati, Paolo Bettini, Jury Chechi, Iader Fabbri, Paolo Kessisoglu, Alan Marangoni, Justine Mattera , Dalia Muccioli, Daniel Oss, Luca Paolini, Silvia Parietti, Federico Pellegrino, Silvia Rocchi, Marco Varisco. In the «C’è da fare D+» team Tiziano Belli, Emilie Bottini, Paolo Cancian, Elena Faleschini and others.

Many teams compete for charity and solidarity purposes such as the two aforementioned and also the Belluno Fire Brigade team, a historic team in the competition, which is made up of 12 athletes: Denis Valente, Luca Caviola, Lisa Bertelle, Matteo De Min , Denis Biddau, Marco Spada, Mattia De Paoli, Maurizio Dimai, Lorenzo Mazzoleni, Lorenzo Stiz, Cristiano Citton, Pintor Romeo De Martin. The La Stanga restaurant in Mas di Sedico, sponsor of the team, will pay 2 euros for each lap performed by the firefighters, euros which will be donated directly to the local section of Aism, the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association, because a young fellow firefighter Fire is suffering from this terrible disease and is now confined to bed without almost moving anymore.
