Biandrate accident: the victim is Luca Rubbi

Cruel fate wanted him to lose his life on his 31st birthday in a road accident that occurred on the A/26 motorway, in the municipal area of ​​Biandrate. It is the tragic end of Luca Rubbi, resident of Gravellona Toce, but born in Novara on 7 June 1993. He was driving his car, around midnight, and was returning home when he was involved in the north lane of the Trafori motorway in a collision which also involved a heavy vehicle. The impact was fatal for the man from Gravellona. The 61-year-old woman who was traveling next to him was hospitalized with injuries at the Dea Maggiore hospital in Novara. The alarm was raised by the driver of the truck and passing motorists who stopped to help the injured. When the 118 ambulance arrived, there was nothing left that could be done for the driver of the car, despite the doctor’s desperate attempts. Originally from Novara, Rubbi had been living in Gravellona for some time. The causes of the accident are being examined by the agents of the Romagnano Sesia polstrada responsible for the A 26 motorway. The body was recomposed at the Maggiore morgue in Novara. The tragic death of Rubbi aroused emotion on the banks of the Toce on a day that was supposed to be a celebration.
