Gaza-InfoPal. The Gaza holocaust continues. On Saturday 8 June, the Israeli-US genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, supported by Europe and conniving regimes, entered its 246th day.
11 Palestinians have been killed and dozens more injured in the Strip since dawn on Saturday.
Palestinian Civil Defense (PCD) crews managed to recover five bodies, including children and women, from the rubble of the Mhanna house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
The house, inhabited by the Mhanna family, was targeted by an Israeli air attack, which caused 14 victims.
Israeli artillery hit Gaza’s Sabra and Zaytun neighborhoods, as well as the vicinity of the new camp, north of al-Nuseirat in the devastated central Strip.
Israeli shelling also targeted a house in the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip, killing six Palestinians and wounding others.
Israeli bombings hit various areas of the city of Rafah, in particular the Hashash neighborhood.
The current toll is 36,731 confirmed deaths and over 83,530 injured.
Furthermore, around 10,000 people are missing, presumably having died under the rubble of their homes across the Strip; others were kidnapped by Israeli forces.
Palestinian and international organizations say most of those killed and injured are women and children.
Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forced displacement of nearly two million people from across the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority forced to take refuge in the southern city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest area of mass exodus since the Nakba of 1948.
