A threatening letter was delivered to Peccerillo and immediately handed over to the Carabinieri at the Gragnano station who are conducting the investigations. The former candidate is inviting citizens not to vote so as not to guarantee a quorum for his opponent in the field, Alfredo Rosalba.
The Prefecture dealt with the matter with the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, who immediately ordered the intensification of control services in the area by the police forces.

During the rally the former mayor invited voters to go to the polls to cancel the ballot, thus nullifying the quorum and invalidating the elections. After the exclusion, only the LeAli for Casola list remained in the running with the mayoral candidate Alfredo Rosalba, a policeman, also in the past twice mayor.
