Loris Comparin, investigation into the death of the former Karate world champion: autopsy ordered

The funeral of Loris Comparin, 46, has been postponed multiple champion Italian and global karate originally from Thiene (Vicenza) and resident of Arsiero who died on Saturday 1 June, after two weeks in Santorso hospital. He had been hospitalized for one tonsillitis acute but then complications, due to one septicemia, led to his death. The funeral should have taken place on Wednesday 5 June, however the family presented a complaint to the competent judicial authority to see clearly. An investigation was opened into the tragedy and was therefore ordered by the deputy prosecutor of Vicenza the autopsywhich will provide a definitive picture of the causes of death.

Four times world champion, 23 times Italian champion

The president of the funeral announced the postponement of the funeral to a later date Fesik (Italian Karate Sports Educational Federation), Sean Henke, who on Saturday also broke the news of the disappearance of the martial arts athlete. Loris Comparin was 23 times Italian championthree-time European champion, four times world champion and two-time intercontinental champion in Kumite (Fighting) specialty karate.
Among the medals, the forty-six year old loved to remember the one he won at the 2005 World Cup in Brazil. His passing has profoundly affected the world of karate, but also the Karate-Thiene Sports Center where he taught this martial art, the community of Thiene and that of Arsiero, where he had lived for some time, who are now close to his daughter Gloria and all his family, relatives and friends.
