These are the hours in which the immediate future of the Lazioafter yesterday’s meeting a new summit is now underway between Tudor, Fabiani and Seric (Tudor’s agent) to try to find a definitive agreement to design the new 2024/25 squad. All scenarios remain standing.

Intervened exclusive to our microphones, Ernesto Calistiformer player of Laziohad his say on the situation surrounding the Biancoceleste club in recent days, saying he was worried about the future of his favorite team.

Lazio-Tudor how do you see the situation?

It’s not a simple situation: many unhappy players and an unhappy environment, this makes me worry. There is an air of revolution because in my opinion many players currently in the squad are not suited to how Tudor plays, there is a lot of bad mood. I’m sorry that Luis Alberto has left, like Felipe Anderson and what’s more, you risk losing Guendouzi too, all important players for Lazio’s level. You have to replace them with quality players because you can’t build a team that is just muscular and fast, you need high-level people: there’s a lot of work to do.

Can compromises work?

We need a middle ground, sometimes accepting some small stomach aches from some players and knowing how to manage situations, then it’s clear that if the situation is difficult you can’t do it. We need a middle ground to manage the group in a certain way, it’s not easy, but we need to talk to the players. Many rifts have been created. I also saw a lot of chaos on a tactical level with players put out of role like Lazzari on the left, Pellegrini and Rovella who disappear and then reappear and Guendouzi as an attacking midfielder, there are many things that are not logical. Tudor is certainly looking for the right situations, but there is a lot of work to be done and it seems to me that there is still a bit of confusion. It’s not an easy situation.

As a fan and as a coach I’m worried, I hope I’m wrong and that Lazio can do well, but my first impressions are not positive.

It’s still very early, but in light of these recent events, what could Lazio’s objectives be for next year?

Everyone’s hope is to do better than this year. We don’t have to start from scratch because there are good players, but it’s clear that there is a lot of work to be done especially on the wingers, of those we have I would only keep Lazzari, but I don’t think Tudor agrees with me (laughs ed. ).

Unfortunately I’m not very confident that Lazio can be protagonists next year, my impression is that by sending away important players we go backwards a bit. This is a shame because the foundations to build a strong team were there, even the management of some situations like that of Felipe Anderson could have been done better.

It’s been like this for many years: one step forward and two steps back, you can never keep this high level for several years in a row.

In the event of a turnaround that would see Tudor leave Lazio, who would you recommend to Lazio?

There are good coaches. I would really like Klose even if he has never coached, but I remember that Mancini also immediately coached Fiorentina in his first experience. Klose would give a great image to Lazio, with great charisma and then someone who has played at that level of football understands that you don’t need 20 years as a coach to try to be a coach. In managing the group, Klose could also be the right person, very respectful of everyone. I would like it very much.

I was sad to lose Sarri because in my opinion it was the last chance for this Lazio to grow.
