The series Redmi 13 from Xiaomi expands further: it was officially released on new Redmi 13 4Gdirect successor to the Redmi 12 and bearer of some innovations from a technical point of view – starting from the chipset.
Redmi 13 4G: here’s what changes
Two main innovations of the Redmi 13 4G: the SoC and the camera. The new model features a processor MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra, against the predecessor’s Helio G88. For the photographic sector, however, we have only one rear camera but of 108 megapixels.
Aesthetically speaking, the two models are very similar. The Redmi 13 4G is equipped with the same display 6.79 inch IPS LCDwith FHD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. No great upgrades, Unfortunately. The front camera, embedded in the screen, is from 13 megapixels.
There is also one fingerprint scannerbut mounted laterally. The new Redmi 13 4G is certified water and dust resistant IP53 and is equipped with 5,030 mAh battery with 33 W charging. On the software side, finally, it supports the new operating system Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
Redmi 13 4G is available for now only in Portugal in three colors – blue, black and pink. Prices range from 199.99 euros for the 6/128 GB version, while for the 8/256 GB version with more storage space and RAM it goes up to 229.99 euros. In both cases it is the 4G model: nothing is known about it yet a possible 5G alternativenor when the Redmi 13 4G will come marketed in Italy.
