Accident at work in Galliera Veneta in the afternoon of Monday 3 June, to SMV who carries out maintenance and repairs of tanks. Four people ended up in a truck tank. The company is based in via Galilei.
The injured reside respectively in Rosà (two), in Cassola (the owner of the business) and in Fontaniva.
Ambulances and two helicopter rescues from Suem 118, the carabinieri and Spisal are on site.
Two were seriously injured, one hospitalized in Padua and the other in Treviso, while the other two – with medium severity codes – were taken to Padua.

According to a first reconstruction of the dynamics, three workers engaged in the cleaning of a tank used for the transport of liquid tar were intoxicated due to the toxic fumes. The holderwho entered the tank to rescue the other three, felt ill but managed to attract the attention of the employees of a nearby company who managed to extract him, while calling for help.
The firefighters from Castelfranco and Cittadella were on site and entered the tank with breathing apparatus.
