The coach will be rewarded for the extraordinary feat achieved against Verona
The XXXI Edition of the Briglia d’Oro will be held in the first days of July, promoted by the Siena Section Football Coaches Association, starring coach Marco Baroni, who performed a miracle by bringing Verona to safety. The football event will be held in Siena during an event in which local, regional and national coaches will take part for an evening of good football and sport.
The AIAC Council, with its president Romano Perini, has decided to reward Mister Marco Baroni who, with dedication, competence and passion, guided Hellas Verona to a memorable salvation in the season just ended. His tireless work and his ability to instill confidence and determination in the team are an example for all coaches. Baroni has demonstrated that, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable difficulties, commitment and perseverance can lead to exceptional results. Verona, under his guidance, showed resilience, determination and a fighting spirit that allowed the team to remain in the top flight.
Mister Marco Baroni joins the prestigious Roll of Honor of the Briglia d’Oro Award of Siena, which over the years has featured, among others, Calzona, Sacchi, Tudor, Dionisi, Semplici, Ballardini, Ranieri, Di Francesco, Pioli, Zeman, Montella, Allegri, Rossi, Ventura, Gasperini, Cuccureddu, Beretta, Ulivieri, Spalletti and Papadopulo.
