Naples at Castel Di Sangro: retreat shortened by a day. Abruzzo birthday for Conte

CASTEL DI SANGRO. “Napoli’s arrival in Castel di Sangro is set for July 25th, the end of the training camp could change due to the Italian Cup”. This was announced by the mayor of the Sangrino capital, Angelo Caruso, regarding the summer ritual of the Neapolitan team in Castel di Sangro. Napoli initially had to leave the Abruzzo town on August 10th but, due to the Coppia Italia, their stay in Alto Sangro will be shortened by at least a day. In fact, in the morning the club communicated, through a note addressed to the Municipality, that the summer retreat in Abruzzo will end on 9 August. In the meantime, the community begins to dress in blue. On July 31st, the new Napoli coach, Antonio Conte, will celebrate his birthday in Alto Sangro. The ceremony will be managed by the club and the mayor who almost certainly has a surprise in mind for the Apulian coach, star of the Abruzzo retreat. The presence of the President of the Region, Marco Marsilio, who has always been a Conte fan, is not excluded. Last year, in the municipality of Castel di Sangro, approximately 140 thousand attendances were recorded in approximately two weeks of summer retreat of the former Italian champions. The numbers speak of 7,500 visitors just for training, 10,000 fans a day to take a selfie with the Scudetto trophy, and a 30 percent increase in the real estate market of the Abruzzo municipality. Napoli, during the two weeks of training camp in Alto Sangro, had played four friendly matches and training sessions on a daily basis in the Patini stadium.
