Many problems in the Borgo area of Sanremo, which are often reported by residents and which, yesterday afternoon, also involved the candidates of the League and ‘Andiamo!’, Daniele Ventimiglia and Massimo Rossano.
The problems concern some situations of degradation and abandonment, in particular in the Borgo Opaco road area where the schools are located but also the asphalt and potholes which, unfortunately, are fed mainly by the passage of heavy vehicles, which enter or exit the Aurelia Bis.
In addition to the various problems, an even more serious one emerged yesterday, namely the collapse of a part of the road and a manhole. “We have been reporting the matter to the Municipality for months – some residents and traders in the area thundered – but no one has ever shown up. Now the big deal has happened! Finally the municipal officials have arrived and we hope that the intervention will be carried out.”
According to those in the know, a complete restyling, at street level, of the Borgo square will be needed, given that in some areas the asphalt is dangerously sagging. Furthermore, it will be necessary to arrange the manhole in a suitable way, or move it since it is in the midst of the movement of vehicles heading to the Aurelia Bis (often heavy). All while also keeping an eye on the rest of the degradation present in the area.
