Football is a sport as beautiful as it is cruel, capable of giving and taking everything away in a few minutes, making fans go from joy to tears in the blink of an eye.
Juventus Women, a few days after winning the Scudetto with Luca Vood’s U15s, failed to repeat the success and suffered a comeback from Inter, who won 2-1 and took home the title.
After the regular time ended goalless, Costanza Santella gave Juventus the lead in the 100th minute, thanks to an assist from Tosello. The Bianconeri’s joy, however, was short-lived: first Giudici scored the equalizer and then Sasso sealed the deal definitively by scoring the winning goal, which was worth the Scudetto for Inter.
As reported by Juventus’ official channels, Coach Luca Scarcella commented on the match as follows: “I have been proud of the girls since the beginning of the year, these are moments of great growth that teach us to pay great attention to details and to stay focused throughout the game: I know that this suffering will serve to become better women and players, just as I know that they have given everything and put in the maximum effort for themselves, for the team and for Juventus. I will tell the girls to continue on this path because they have great potential and perspective, they are players who have given a lot: they must continue to always believe in it, especially in their improvement”.
