Terrible road accident in the Catanzaro area which costs the life of a young man who died in the collision between two cars along the SS180
CROPANI (CATANZARO) – Yet another road accident resulting in tragedy on the Calabrian roads. In a collision between two cars that occurred in the Catanzaro area, a 26-year-old young man lost his life while other people were fortunately injured without life-threatening injuries, at least according to what emerged from an initial reconstruction.
The fire brigade team from the Catanzaro Command, Sellia Marina detachment, intervened on site to allow the recovery of the body and the release from the wreckage of other people involved in the collision. The accident occurred along state road 180 near Orto Grande on the border between the municipal territories of Cropani and Sersale.
ROAD ACCIDENT IN THE CATANZARI AREA, A 26-YEAR-OLD DEATH
According to an initial reconstruction of events, two cars were involved in the accident: an Alfa 159 and a Fiat Panda. In the impact between the two vehicles the driver of the Fiat Panda, a young man of 26 years old, died while the passenger traveling next to him and the occupants of the Alfa159 were injured but, at least according to the checks of the first responders, it would seem that did not suffer any particularly serious injuries. In any case, a 118 ambulance intervened on site and took care of rescuing the injured by applying the first emergency medications.
For their part, the firefighters who intervened in the area of the road accident proceeded to make the site and the vehicles safe and, after authorization from the coroner and the magistrate on duty, implemented the operations necessary to recover the body. Furthermore, the Carabinieri intervened on site to carry out their duties and to obtain all the useful elements in order to carry out a precise reconstruction of the dynamics of the accident and thus verify any responsibilities, if any, on both drivers of the vehicles. .
