Tadej Pogacar has set his sights on dominating the 2024 Giro d’Italia. The Slovenian rider also won the seventh stage, the time trial from Foligno to Perugia. Not even a specialist like Filippo Ganna was able to keep Pogacar behind him, who is playing the role of the absolute dominator in the pink race.
The cyclist from Verbania came in second place, 17 seconds behind the Slovenian, who he covered the 40.6km of road in 51’44”. Third on arrival was Magnus Sheffield, Ganna’s teammate in Ineos.
