ENZO GUARNERA: IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION OF ALL DIRECTORS INVOLVED, BOTH PATERNO’ AND TREMESTIERI ETNEO

The Association “Anti-mafia and legality”, regarding the recent judicial events involving the Municipal Administration of Paternal and that of Tremestieri Etneodenounces the further decay of the political and administrative class of Sicily and, more generally, of the entire country.

“An absolutely unpresentable political class in which they prevail” – he claims Enzo Guarnera President of the Association “Anti-mafia and legality” – widespread corruption, collusion with the mafia, instrumental use of power and collective resources for private affairs, mystification of reality, serial inconsistency, pathological demagogy, ignorance and incompetence, arrogance and arrogance, absence of ethical and moral sense. There is no longer time to stand by and watch. Honest citizens must become aware and mobilize so that there is a change in the political and administrative class that operates in the exclusive interest of the community and, as stated in the art. 54 of the Constitution, “carries out public functions with dignity and responsibility”.

Our Association – continues lawyer Guarnera – within its competence, it will provide the maximum contribution for this renewal. Therefore, we ask for the immediate resignation of all the administrators involved, both in Paternò and Tremestieri Etneo, of the two mayors and of the entire council. Furthermore – concludes the President of the Association “Anti-mafia and legality” – we invite the competent institutional bodies, Prefecture, Ministry of the Interior, to send commissions to the respective municipalities to ascertain any irregularities in the conduct of administrative activity which also serves to evaluate mafia infiltration within these administrations and therefore start the dissolution procedure, as recently occurred, in the municipality of Randazzo.”
