At 2.45pm, the Fire Brigade Operations Room was contacted about a car fire in Viale San Francesco, in Lower Nocera.
For reasons to be ascertained, the car traveling with a woman at the wheel suddenly caught fire.
The driver managed to get out of the vehicle but the car ended its run against a tree.
The red helmets of the Nocera detachment intervened on site and extinguished the flames and made the area safe.
