Presentation of the books of two Tuscan authors, Friday 3 May at 6pm in the Winter Garden of Villa Bertelli in Forte dei Marmi. Barbara Giorgi and Elisabetta Polacci will be on stage, respectively with the works The Witch of the Rock (Porto Seguro Editore) e The secret of the blue silk rock (Passion for Self-publishing Writer). Two books that talk about women, between reality and fantasy.
Elisabetta Polacci’s novel involves two women, who lived one hundred years apart (1920 and 2020) linked by a blue silk thread. A bond experienced through old love letters, which Serenella and Elisa have in common. Barbara Giorgi instead tells a story set in 1600 among the majestic towers of Cybo-Malaspina where Piccola was born. She is a young woman animated by a passion for botany and an ardent desire to know. But her fate reserves cruel trials for her. She accused of witchcraft, she is locked up in the dark dungeons of the castle. Her resistance becomes a symbol of courage and wisdom.
