A technical meeting between Italferr, RFI, the municipal administration and the entrepreneurs of the artisan area was held in the council chamber of the Municipality of Alì Terme. The objective was to delve into the problems that emerged during the city council meeting on 2 April regarding the request for a variation to the definitive project for the railway doubling.
The meeting, which lasted several hours, took place in an atmosphere of fruitful collaboration between the parties. The technicians and managers of Italferr and RFI have listened to the concerns of the municipal administration and entrepreneurs and are committed to finding shared solutions that can best mitigate the impact of the railway doubling on the area.
In particular, the problems relating to roads, the movement of the water pipe and the overall impact of the project on the territory were analysed. Italferr and RFI have guaranteed their willingness to collaborate with the municipal administration to find solutions that can satisfy the needs of all parties. The Prime Minister Nino Muscarello and the members of the RFI commission, having acquired the necessary clarifications, will be able to express their opinion on the variant to the project during the next municipal council meeting.
The meeting represents an important step towards resolving the critical issues of the railway doubling project in Alì Terme. The commitment of Italferr, RFI and the municipal administration to find shared solutions gives rise to hope.
