Extremely serious accident in Cornate, motorcyclist transported by air ambulance to Niguarda hospital. The crash occurred around 5.30pm yesterday, Monday 15 April 2024, along provincial road 178 near the Pilot company.

These are minutes of apprehension for a motorcyclist who was involved in a serious accident which occurred around 5.30pm along the SP 178. Three people were involved in the crash, which occurred near the Pilot company. The situation appeared serious immediately and two ambulances and a medical vehicle rushed to the scene under code red. Given the seriousness of the situation, a helicopter arriving from Milan also landed on site. Of greater concern are the health conditions of one of the three, transported in code red by air ambulance to the Niguarda hospital in Milan. The conditions of the other two involved in the crash were less serious and were transported under code yellow to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza.

Dynamics to be clarified

The dynamics of the accident are yet to be clarified and are being investigated by the Carabinieri and the local police of Cornate. The firefighters were also present on site and committed to helping with the rescue.
