Accident in Thiene: road accident, car overturned on its hood and two injured with yellow code
Thiene (VI), Sunday 28 April 2024 – A man from Montecchio Precalcino driving a Renault Scenic was hospitalized under yellow code at Santorso hospital after an accident which occurred at approximately 12.10 pm in via Cà Orecchiona.
Loss of control and rollover after impact
The 56-year-old man was traveling along the road towards Thiene when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he hit a Mazda driven by a 50-year-old from Thiene who was probably maneuvering to get onto the road.
Following the impact, the Renault Scenic lost control and overturned onto the road.
Accident in Thiene: rescue intervention and investigations underway
The Fire Brigade intervened on site to free the occupants of the car and make the vehicles safe. In addition to two ambulances from the SUEM 118 of Santorso to help the injured and two patrols from the NE.VI. Consortium. for accident findings and traffic regulation.
The other driver involved in the accident, also injured, was transported to hospital under yellow code.
The causes of the accident are still under investigation by the police.
