Tare’s words

Tare on the present and how he spent his time after leaving Lazio

“Initially I simply rested and took advantage of the time to be with my family, a very important moment after the long and exhausting period with Lazio. In recent months I have started traveling again and following football again, watching matches both of important clubs and in Greece and Turkey. I will soon visit Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and Roberto de Zerbi at Brighton. I am very excited about these insights.

Tare on his farewell to Lazio

“The club knew for more than a season that I would not renew my contract as I needed a break. When I started at Lazio everything was different from now both on a financial and structural level, I am extremely happy with the work done and having left the club at a high level with a second place and qualification for the Champions League. Lazio will always remain in my heart.”

Tare on the future

“I would like to return to a club that has big ambitions and wants to compete for international places if possible. I would like to be able to buy players at low prices and then sell them at higher prices, it has been a strong point of Lazio over the years. At Lazio there are 49 players who have made the leap from youth to professional football.

Tare on Inzaghi and Klose

“I spent a lot of time together with Inzaghi, we started as players then he worked in the youth team reaching the first team and now he is one of the longest-serving coaches in Serie A. Klose was a player of another category, a professional and a visionary. I think that in any role he could convey a lot and do a great job.”

Tare on Scouting at Lazio

At Lazio we didn’t have scouting, we only worked through my contacts all over the world. The results were good. Scouting is becoming increasingly important in the world of football.”

Tare on Property

“Immobile arrived at Borussia Dortmund as Serie A’s top scorer, it’s not easy for an Italian player to adapt to Serie A. In Italy it’s different, life is more relaxed and football is experienced as a religion.”
