Today on stage at the Olimpico Lazio-Hellas Veronaa match valid for the 34th matchday of Serie A. The match comes at a time when the Biancocelesti are looking for important points for Europe while Verina aims to remain in Serie A.
The curious fact about the early days
The match between Lazio and Verona since the 2015/16 season, at the Stadio Olimpico, has seen a total of 20 goals scored by the two teams. Of these, however, only 6 arrived in the first half: 4 of these in the same match, the 3-3 in 2022, and 2 in the 45th minute. The rest of the goals, all in the second half. In 2020, a match that could have been worth 3 golden points for the Biancocelesti in the race for the dream championship, ended 0-0 with Luis Alberto coming close to scoring on more than one occasion. The following year came Verona’s away victory with Lazzari’s own goal at the end of the first half. After the aforementioned 3-3 came another 2-0 with a goal scored again by Immobile in the second half. The match was closed in the final minutes by Luis Alberto.
