The second edition of the Water Festival returns to Staranzano

The second edition of the Water Festival returns to Staranzano
Descriptive text here

Appointment from 16 to 19 May with the Water Festival.

L’water, a not unlimited resource, constitutes a community good, a universal human right. And as such it must be protected. This is the leitmotif, the guideline of Staranzano Water Festivala one-of-a-kind, multidisciplinary scientific dissemination event, which returns for the second edition, in Staranzano and other municipalities in the Isonzo area, from 16 to 19 May.

Welcomed by a territory that has a very special relationship with water, where iThey meet the salt water of the Adriatic Sea and the fresh water of the mouth of the Isonzo and the brackish water of wetlands, the Staranzano Festival explores the different and very current themes related to water through different languages, capable of reaching a large and diversified audience, with particular attention to the new generations.

In fact, in the name of artscience – a research methodology and communication method that involves the interaction between science and art – the Festival program alternates talks and performances, research paths and exhibition events, workshops and other experiences. To animating them are prestigious personalities of scientific dissemination, young researchers (starting from the many students involved) and live entertainment artists, all serving the same urgent mission: to stimulate renewed awareness of this diminishing asset of humanity and to encourage sustainable and virtuous behaviour. An opportunity for discussion, therefore, between people of different origins and backgrounds. A precious opportunity for shared reflection and planning.
