She crashed into a parked vehicle, which almost became a “trampoline” and overturned with the car. An accident occurred yesterday afternoon in via Uditore, at number 121, where a 73-year-old was rescued and helped to get out of the passenger compartment of a green Fiat Panda. The elderly woman (the initials AMP) was accompanied to Villa Sofia for checks: after the doctors’ treatment she was discharged with a prognosis of 5 days.
According to an initial reconstruction, the driver lost control of the vehicle, perhaps due to a distraction, before hitting a Citroen C3, parked on the right side of the road, and ending the race on the left side. Even before the intervention of the accident department of the municipal police, who carried out the tests on her, the woman was taken to hospital and subjected to some tests which highlighted a trauma to her right elbow.
A few days ago another accident occurred in Viale del Fante, a few steps from the Renzo Barbera stadium. A Honda Sh driven by a twenty-year-old and a Renault Clio driven by a 47-year-old were involved in the collision. The one who fared the worst was the young man who was rescued and taken to the Trauma center. Two other clashes were recorded in the previous days: the first at dawn, in viale Regione, and the second a few hours later on the state road between Palermo and Isola.
