NERETO – The meeting with the writer Benedetta took place on Friday 22 March Tobagiauthor of the book “The resistance of women” and winner of the 61st edition of the Campiello Prize, in the Aula Magna of the ITE of the IISS “Peano-Rosa” in Nereto, in the presence of the Headmaster Dr. Margherita Trua. The meeting, the first of those scheduled, is part of the national project “The ostrich at school” and represented a moment of profound reflection and discussion: in fact, there were many questions and curiosities that the students had were able to address the author, who showed herself available and open to dialogue with them, lending herself to a generous signature at the end of the event.
Classes 5AL, 5DL, 5EL, 5IL, 5BT, 5CT participated in the meeting, led by teachers Maria Paola D’AmicoLorella D’EgidioMario RosésValeria OlivieriDaniela Smash and Alessandra Angelucci who, through reading and reflections on the book “The resistance of women”, had the opportunity to delve deeper into the theme of the Resistance from the female point of view, with the protagonist women who opposed Nazi-fascism, to return to giving voice and aimed at a long-silenced “half” of partisan history.
The choice and reading of the book are part of the Institute’s reading project “Let’s read together”, developed and edited by the representatives of the School Library, professors Eva The Rose and Federica Tonelli and born thanks to the collaboration with the Punto Einaudi bookshop of San Benedetto del Tronto, coordinated by Antonio Liturriterritorial agent of Marche and northern Abruzzo.
